All this reading about humanitarian work for my consultancy makes me think sometimes I should go back...like...NOW! I really miss "the field". Then, you know, you scroll your average NYT page and you see a picture like this (n.5) and you really want to go back. There is out there a massive drought. Massive. Millions of people are affected, many are on the move. I think, sometimes, what the hell. How can we all be so insensitive. We don't even flinch.
